Nurturing Confident, Capable Young Minds
Kinburra Preschool has been operating in Kincumber since 1977, delivering the highest standard of preschool and education for children aged from 3 to 6 years.
We are proud to have an Exceeding Rating in all seven Quality Areas of the National Quality Standard. Our not-for-profit, community-based preschool is open from 8:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. We operate during school terms and close during school holidays.
Kinburra Preschool is fully licensed and funded by the Department of Education, which means we can dedicate all fees and funding to delivering more opportunities and better outcomes for children. We are run by a Parent Committee who help to shape the future of the preschool.
At Kinburra, the children are at the centre of everything we do. Our inclusive approach ensures each child’s voice is listened to and their unique strengths, interests and abilities are nurtured in a safe and supportive environment.
We believe in fostering strong partnerships with families, children, Educators and the broader community to lay a strong foundation for each child's lifelong learning journey.

What It Means to Receive an Exceeding Rating
Kinburra Preschool has an Exceeding rating in all 7 Quality Areas according to the National Quality Standards. This means Kinburra Preschool goes above and beyond the standard requirements, delivering exceptional care and education for children and their families.
Our qualified Educators take part in continuous reflective practices which support the development of each child’s learning, improve their own teaching practices and bring about future change.
