Exceptional care and education for children aged 3-6.
Kinburra Preschool has been operating in Kincumber since 1977, delivering the highest standard of preschool and education for children aged from 3 to 6 years. We are proud to have been recently rated as exceeding the National Quality Standards in all seven areas. Our not-for-profit, community-based preschool is open from 8:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. We operate during school terms and close during school holidays.
We incorporate a play-based early education program designed to be child focused, which is structured around the practices and principles defined in the National Early Years Learning Framework. Our preschool is fully licensed and funded by the Department of Education, which enables us to dedicate all fees and funding to delivering more opportunities and better outcomes for your children.
The Reggio Emilia approach inspires our practices, and we have shaped our philosophy using the principles within this approach.

At Kinburra Preschool, we understand the immense value of play as an integral part of your child's learning journey. Our play equipment, natural playground and eco-garden provide children with endless opportunities to explore, experiment and engage with the world around them.
We aim to foster a sense of belonging, being and becoming within each child. With our focus on sustainable practices, children learn the importance of the environment and develop an appreciation for the earth's wonders. We believe that by immersing children in nature, they become more socially aware, responsible and empathetic, all while exploring our beautiful eco-friendly space.
You can also keep up to date with your child’s progress through Storypark—a private, user-friendly service that shares regular updates, documentation, photos and videos throughout the day.
